Great Dane Rescue of North Texas, Inc. is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing medical attention and foster care while seeking permanent homes for abandoned Great Danes in the North Texas area. They work with animal shelters to save the lives of Great Danes on death row. Many dogs that come into our program are sick, injured or have suffered abuse but there are just as many happy, healthy, well-adjusted Great Danes that find themselves facing the euthanasia needle because of hardships faced by their families.

RescueGroups.org offers free and low-cost services, including the Pet Adoption Portal, data management, web site and voicemail services to non-profit animal rescue and shelter organizations. If you do not have a website, it would be worth contacting them. Several members use their services. We are in no way affiliated with them. They are online at:

Animals Best Friends is a 501C3 non-profit organization that is run solely by volunteers. We are proud to be licensed in the state of Missouri. Our Mission is to effectively contribute to the humane care and treatment of shelter animals, maximize adoptions, minimize euthanizations, and to increase public awareness to reduce companion animal overpopulation. In addition it is our goal to enhance responsible lifetime ownership of companion animals. If your application is selected we will contact you within 7 to 10 days from the time you applied for that animal.
